This FAQ contains technical knowledge
and 'How To' tips and will develop as
users request information.
How do we identify different types of
contacts?
Contacts can be identified as clients
by entering a Client Code. Other types
of contacts can be identified as members
of lists, eg Suppliers, Employees, etc.
Previously, I had many different databases.
Where are they now?
All your client data has been gathered
into one place, to eliminate duplicate
data entry. Multiple databases are now
replaced by List memberships in Clientware
CRM.
How do we mail all our Forestry clients
with information about budget changes
which affect them?
- Select Clients in the Forestry Industry,
by using Advanced Find.
- Right-click and select New Message.
- Enter subject heading for cover letter,
enter content of letter and save.
- Select Word Merge and click Send
Now.
How do we track whether or not a client
has received our firm's promo package
and what happens if we update it?
The Publications feature within Clientware
enables you to create a list of publications
your firm uses and track the different
versions. Publications can be printed
hard copies or electronic files. When
sending messages, you can specify which
publications to include with the correspondence.
If your message is being sent by email,
electronic versions of publications are
automatically attached to the message.
